This is the time of year when most people are either establishing budgets or fighting for their share of the budget. If you are in charge of your own plan, how do you justify (to yourself) that your idea is worth pursuing? And just as critical, how are you selling your idea to those who control the budgets and make the decisions in your organization, whether it's a superior you report to or a governing board of directors? If that’s not you, perhaps you’re funding a start-up and must get approval for a bank loan. Whatever the case may be, we all need skill in communications, especially when it comes to money.
