How do you see yourself?
Do you see yourself as a champion who wins? Or do you see yourself as a loser?
Perhaps you see yourself as average. Someone who struggles along, making what you make, then you settle for that seeing yourself at that level.
How you see yourself is very important because it will ultimately affect the way other people see you as well.
One of the ancient prophets said “As a person thinks of themselves in their heart, that is the way they will be”
Now consider this. Have you met someone who has a bad self-image or who always seemed to carry an air of inferiority around with them? It is usually not hard to spot these folks who possess this attitude about themselves. The see themselves and feel so badly about themselves they exude their negative perception of themselves and their sense of insecurity.
Now consider this. Have you met someone who is self-confident and self-assured? Isn’t it easier to spot their confidence?
You know what?
Confidence breeds confidence. Momentum builds upon itself. It’s takes less energy to exude more confidence than it does to start it. Success is 80% psychological and 20% technical.
What you do is a reflection of who you are. It’s a fact you will inevitably project what you feel about yourself to others. You will project what you feel about yourself into your business.
Others will naturally react to you. Your business will naturally react to you. Your customers will naturally react to you.
You are always projecting the perception others have of you through your own self-image.
Developing courage will eliminate fear. Begin to act courageously when it is called for. If this is a quality you desire and you don’t feel you have it, act as if you have it and you will! Courageous people work to confront the fears that are holding them back. Confront your fears and your doubts head on and they begin to evaporate. Start to see yourself as a winner and a champion and you will become what you clearly see yourself becoming!
